Oldenburg, Prenzlau. aleo solar AG (ISIN: DE000A0JM634) has announced
its results for the first nine months of 2007: Revenue amounted to
EUR 158.6 million, while in the prior-year period it was EUR 77.6
million (+104.3%). From July to September 2007, the Company generated
the highest three-month revenue in its history (EUR 68.5 million).
EBIT for the first nine months of 2007 amounted to EUR 10.7 million
(prior-year period: EUR 6.8 million), corresponding to a solid EBIT
margin of 6.8%. Earnings per share totalled EUR 0.49 (prior-year
period: EUR 0.30) and the proportion of international revenue was
32.6% (first nine months of 2006: 9.2%). The Company increased its
production output to 62.6 MW (first nine months of 2006: 33.4 MW).
For full-year 2007, it is continuing to expect organic growth of at
least EUR 200 million in revenue, accompanied by a solid EBIT margin.

The Company is lifting its 2008 revenue forecasts to between EUR 270
million and EUR 300 million, and is anticipating an ongoing solid
EBIT margin. International revenue will amount to around 35% of the
total in 2008.

aleo solar AG is focussing systematically on solid organic growth
with the production of premium modules, and on its own sales team.
The Company has a very well-established and strong brand and is
reiterating its goal of generating 50% of its revenue abroad by 2010.
Its 19% stake in Johanna Solar Technology GmbH, which is constructing
the largest CIGSSe thin film factory in the world, gives aleo solar
access to an attractive new type of solar module that will extend its
premium product range from 2008 onwards.
