Küsnacht, 29 January 2008. Last year at its IPO, Goldbach Media
announced that it plans to enter Eastern European markets - possibly
together with the AdLINK Group. The present correction in
international financial markets and the expected consequences for the
M&A market allow growth through acquisition at interesting
conditions.

With Thomas Landolt, Goldbach Media has gained an acknowledged expert
in the Eastern European media business. He worked altogether eleven
years for Ringier AG, six years of which he was Managing Director of
Ringier in the Czech Republic and Romania before he was called back
to Switzerland one year ago to lead the Swiss operations.

Thomas Landolt will join Goldbach Media on 1 March 2008. As head of
the international business of the Group, he will build up the Eastern
European business. At the same time, he will ideally complement the
presently six-member management board.
