has been appointed Member of the Management Board and Chief Human
Resources Officer (CHRO) of D+S europe AG (ISIN: DE0005336804) as of
September 1, 2008. Werkmeister disposes of 20 years of professional
experience in the international group-environment of the sectors
consumer goods and media. After a European management trainee program
with the company Mars in Verden in 1990 and a position in the field
of finance as Capital Spending Planner and Controller he switched
intragroup as Personnel Executive to the department of Human
Resources in Viersen. Positions as Personnel Director and
Organisational and Personnel Developer Eastern Europe with Pepsi Cola
in Frankfurt and Budapest and as Executive Director Personnel and
Social Affairs Germany, Austria, Switzerland and as Personnel
Developer Europe with the company Colgate-Palmolive in Hamburg, Paris
and New York followed. After a job as Group Personnel Developer with
Axel Springer Verlag in Hamburg, Werkmeister changed to Coca Cola,
first to Berlin as Personnel Director of the German holding
organisation and later on as Vice President Human Resources Northern
Europe to London.

Ulf Werkmeister is a graduate in mechanical engineering (University
of Hannover) and disposes of a large amount of basic and advanced
training in organisational psychology (diagnostics of suitability,
coaching of executives etc.). His focuses are the development of
executives, personnel management and development of business culture.
