- SAF Simulation, Analysis and Forecasting AG resolves share buyback
to fulfill future employee participation programs

Tägerwilen/Switzerland, October 15, 2008 On October 14, 2008, the
Board of Directors of SAF Simulation, Analysis and Forecasting AG
(ISIN CH0024848738) resolved and empowered the Executive Management
to repurchase up to 107,369 own shares, i.e. up to approx. 2 percent
of SAF's share capital. The authorization will be valid for one year
starting with the date of the resolution and should be started
contemporarily. Conditions are determined currently. The share
buyback is carried out for the purpose to fulfill future employee
participation programs.

The Company will inform regularly about executed transactions on the
