• Turnover of investments in revenue increased to 493%
• EBIT amounts to EUR 1,83 million as per September 30th 2008
• 11 consecutive quarters of showing profit

Austrian regulation of publications) follows on December 10th 2008

JoWooD Productions Software AG increased its revenues of the first 9
months by 8,7% to EUR 18,6 million.

EBIT for the first 9 months of FY 2008 amounts to EUR 1,8 million.
Because of the focus on distribution titles on console and PC in the
third quarter (75% of the Q3 lineup consists of distribution titles),
an increase of distribution costs has been registered. In the third
quarter, no titles in the scope of core brands (= publishing titles)
have been released.

With significantly reduced investment risk (as per September 30th
2008, 13,6% of the total equity have been invested, previous
reference period: 18,1%), the turnover of investments in revenues
have been increased to 493%, i.e. the total investment volume has
been turned over approximately 5 times, whereas investments of the
previous year´s reference period turned over approx. 3,7 times. The
cost-conscious investment policy combined with the strong
distribution network enables an increase in revenues with a lower
investment volume.

Additionally, the invested funds have been spread on a significantly
higher amount of titles and multiple, widespread and established
console platforms (Nintendo® Wii™, Nintendo® DS™).
