1. We hereby notify you in accordance with Sec. 25 para. 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz - "WpHG") in the name and
on behalf of SE Drive Technik GmbH, Wasserstr. 223, 44799 Bochum, Germany,
that on 29 December 2008 SE Drive Technik GmbH fell below the threshold of
20 % in financial instruments entitling SE Drive Technik GmbH to acquire
voting shares in REpower Systems AG, Überseering 10, 22297 Hamburg,
Germany ("REpower"). On that day, SE Drive Technik GmbH directly held
financial instruments entitling SE Drive Technik GmbH to acquire 1,566,300
voting shares in REpower, corresponding to 17.08 % of the voting rights in
REpower.

The right to acquire voting shares in REpower may be exercised on 7 April
2009 in respect of 25,182 voting shares, corresponding to 0.27 % of the
voting rights in REpower, and at any time following 25 May 2009 in respect
of all 1,566,300 voting shares.

2. We further notify you in accordance with Sec. 25 para. 1 WpHG in the name
and on behalf of AE-Rotor Holding BV, Goodstraat 15, 7554NG Hengelo Ov,
The Netherlands, that on 29 December 2008 AE-Rotor Holding BV fell below
the threshold of 20 % in financial instruments entitling to acquire voting
shares in REpower. On that day, AE-Rotor Holding indirectly held financial
instruments entitling to acquire 1,566,300 voting shares in REpower,
corresponding to 17.08 % of the voting rights in REpower.

The right to acquire voting shares in REpower may be exercised on 7 April
2009 in respect of 25,182 voting shares, corresponding to 0.27 % of the
voting rights in REpower, and at any time following 25 May 2009 in respect
of all 1,566,300 voting shares.

The financial instruments are held indirectly through SE Drive Technik
GmbH which is controlled by AE-Rotor Holding BV.

3. We further notify you in accordance with Sec. 25 para. 1 WpHG in the name
and on behalf of Suzlon Wind Energy Limited, c/o Chalfen Services Limited,
93A Rivington Street, London EC2A 3AY, United Kingdom, that on 29 December
2008 Suzlon Wind Energy Limited fell below the threshold of 20 % in
financial instruments entitling to acquire voting shares in REpower. On
that day, Suzlon Wind Energy Limited indirectly held financial instruments
entitling to acquire 1,566,300 voting shares in REpower, corresponding to
17.08 % of the voting rights in REpower.

The right to acquire voting shares in REpower may be exercised on 7 April
2009 in respect of 25,182 voting shares, corresponding to 0.27 % of the
voting rights in REpower, and at any time following 25 May 2009 in respect
of all 1,566,300 voting shares.

The financial instruments are held indirectly through the following
companies which are controlled by Suzlon Wind Energy Limited:

. AE-Rotor Holding BV; and

. SE Drive Technik GmbH.

4. We further notify you in accordance with Sec. 25 para. 1 WpHG in the name
and on behalf of Suzlon Energy Limited, c/o Corporate and Secretarial
Services Centre Limited, Anglo Mauritius House, Intendance Street, Port
Louis, Mauritius, that on 29 December 2008 Suzlon Energy Limited fell
below the threshold of 20 % in financial instruments entitling Suzlon
Energy Limited, Mauritius, to acquire voting shares in REpower. On that
day, Suzlon Energy Limited, Mauritius, indirectly held financial
instruments entitling to acquire 1,566,300 voting shares in REpower,
corresponding to 17.08 % of the voting rights in REpower.

The right to acquire voting shares in REpower may be exercised on 7 April
2009 in respect of 25,182 voting shares, corresponding to 0.27 % of the
voting rights in REpower, and at any time following 25 May 2009 in respect
of all 1,566,300 voting shares.

The financial instruments are held indirectly through the following
companies which are controlled by Suzlon Energy Limited, Mauritius:

. Suzlon Wind Energy Limited;

. AE-Rotor Holding BV; and

. SE Drive Technik GmbH.

5. We further notify you in accordance with Sec. 25 para. 1 WpHG in the name
and on behalf of Suzlon Energy Limited, Suzlon, 5, Shrimali Society near
Shri Krishna Complex, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad-380009, India ("Suzlon"),
that on 29 December 2008 Suzlon fell below the threshold of 20 % in
financial instruments entitling to acquire voting shares in REpower. On
that day, Suzlon indirectly held financial instruments entitling to
acquire 1,566,300 voting shares in REpower, corresponding to 17.08 % of
the voting rights in REpower.

The right to acquire voting shares in REpower may be exercised on 7 April
2009 in respect of 25,182 voting shares, corresponding to 0.27 % of the
voting rights in REpower, and at any time following 25 May 2009 in respect
of all 1,566,300 voting shares.

The financial instruments are held indirectly through the following
companies which are controlled by Suzlon:

. Suzlon Energy Limited, Mauritius;

. Suzlon Wind Energy Limited;

. AE-Rotor Holding BV; and

6. We further notify you in accordance with Sec. 25 para. 1 WpHG in the name
and on behalf of the individuals, companies and hindu undivided families
("HUF") listed hereinafter (together the "Suzlon Shareholder Group"), that
on 29 December 2008 each member of the Suzlon Shareholder Group fell below
the threshold of 20 % in financial instruments entitling to acquire voting
shares in REpower. On that day, each member of the Suzlon Shareholder
Group indirectly held financial instruments entitling to acquire 1,566,300
voting shares in REpower, corresponding to 17.08 % of the voting rights in
REpower.

The right to acquire voting shares in REpower may be exercised on 7 April
2009 in respect of 25,182 voting shares, corresponding to 0.27 % of the
voting rights in REpower, and at any time following 25 May 2009 in respect
of all 1,566,300 voting shares.

The financial instruments are held indirectly through the following
companies which are controlled by each member of the Suzlon Shareholder
Group:
