HAMBURG, June 21, 2006. D+S europe AG (ISIN DE0005336804), a leading
service provider, holds a minority interest in 11 8 99 Auskunft
Service GmbH, which has attracted Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck
as a further strategic partner. The media company will become
actively involved in marketing for 11 8 99. The current shareholders
will transfer part of their previous holdings to the new shareholder,
which will then hold a total of 25.2 % of the shares of 11 8 99
Auskunft Service GmbH. Following the transaction, which is expected
to be closed on June 21, 2006, D+S europe AG will hold 29% of the
shares in the directory assistance company.

The acquisition of the shares is subject to approval by the
competition authorities.

11 8 99, which became active on April 26, 2006, plans to achieve a
position of leadership in Germany as a directory assistance portal
that offers a user-driven portfolio of cross-media services. A unique
social sponsoring model makes this portal stand out against its
competition. 11 8 99 donates a specific amount to Deutsche
Krebshilfe—the German cancer society—for each directory assistance
call processed. 11 8 99’s partners already include D+S europe AG as
its exclusive service provider for project and customer-contact
management as well as the YellowMap AG subsidiary of CAS Software AG
as its content and online partner.

D+S europe AG is listed on the SDAX segment of the Frankfurt Stock
Exchange. The company is present in 11 German states as well as in
Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic with over 3,000 group
employees and ranks among Germany’s largest outsourcing service
providers for marketing and customer-process management. D+S europe
AG expects consolidated revenues of over EUR170 million for the
current year. Operating EBIT is expected to exceed EUR18.5 million
and earnings per share (EpS) 38 cents.
