In accordance with Sections 21 (1) and 24 WpHG, Credit Suisse Group
AG, Zurich, Switzerland, has informed us on its own behalf and on
behalf of the companies named below of the following:

1a) The share of voting rights held by Credit Suisse Securities
(Europe) Limited, London, United Kingdom, in Wincor Nixdorf AG,
Paderborn, Germany, exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% on June 15,
2009, and was 5.19% (1,717,356 voting rights) on that date.

1b) The share of voting rights held by Credit Suisse Securities
(Europe) Limited, London, United Kingdom, in Wincor Nixdorf AG,
Paderborn, Germany, fell below the threshold of 5% on June 17, 2009,
and was 4.79% (1,585,911 voting rights) on that date.

2a) Due to the fact that the voting rights of Credit Suisse
Securities (Europe) Limited, London, United Kingdom, exceeded the
thresholds of 3% and 5% as stated above, Credit Suisse Group AG,
Zurich, Switzerland, has also informed us that the share of voting
rights of its affiliated companies, Credit Suisse (International)
Holding AG, Zug, Switzerland, Credit Suisse Investments (UK), London,
United Kingdom, and Credit Suisse Investment Holdings (UK), London,
United Kingdom, in Wincor Nixdorf AG, Paderborn, Germany, exceeded
the thresholds of 3% and 5% on June 15, 2009, and was 5.19%
(1,717,356 voting rights) on that date. This share of voting rights
can be fully ascribed to the companies stated in this subsection, in
each case in accordance with Section 22 (1) Sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG.

2b) Due to the fact that the voting rights of Credit Suisse
Securities (Europe) Limited, London, United Kingdom, fell below the
threshold of 5% as stated above, Credit Suisse Group AG, Zurich,
Switzerland, has also informed us that the share of voting rights of
its affiliated companies, Credit Suisse (International) Holding AG,
Zug, Switzerland, Credit Suisse Investments (UK), London, United
Kingdom, and Credit Suisse Investment Holdings (UK), London, United
Kingdom, in Wincor Nixdorf AG, Paderborn, Germany, likewise fell
below the threshold of 5% on June 17, 2009, and was 4.79% (1,585,911
voting rights) on that date. This share of voting rights can be fully
ascribed to the companies stated in this subsection, in each case in
accordance with Section 22 (1) Sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG.

3a) Furthermore, Credit Suisse Group AG, Zurich, Switzerland, has
informed us that the share of voting rights held by Credit Suisse,
Zurich, Switzerland, and Credit Suisse Group AG, Zurich, Switzerland,
in Wincor Nixdorf AG, Paderborn, Germany, exceeded the thresholds of
3% and 5% on June 15, 2009, and was 5.19% (1,718,151 voting rights)
on that date. This share of voting rights is to be ascribed in
accordance with Section 22 (1) Sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG.

3b) Furthermore, Credit Suisse Group AG, Zurich, Switzerland, has
informed us that the share of voting rights held by Credit Suisse,
Zurich, Switzerland, and Credit Suisse Group AG, Zurich, Switzerland,
in Wincor Nixdorf AG, Paderborn, Germany, fell below the threshold of
5% on June 17, 2009, and was 4.80% (1,586,706 voting rights) on that
date. This share of voting rights is to be ascribed in accordance
with Section 22 (1) Sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG.

4) The chain of controlling companies is as follows (starting with
the lowest-level company): Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Ltd.,
Credit Suisse Investment Holdings (UK), Credit Suisse Investments
(UK), Credit Suisse (International) Holding AG, Credit Suisse and
Credit Suisse Group AG.
