Notification in line with Article 26 of the German Securities Trading
Act (WpHG)

Mr Leo Herl (Germany) notified Arcandor AG (Essen, Germany) on 27
July 2009 in accordance with section 21 et seq. WpHG that after
termination of the pooling agreement between Madeleine Schickedanz,
Madeleine Schickedanz Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG, Martin Dedi
Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG, Grisfonta AG and Leo Herl, on 23
July 2009 his voting rights in Arcandor AG fell below the thresholds
of 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%, 3% and that his share of voting rights amounted
to 0.001% (3,075 voting rights).

Grisfonta AG (St. Moritz, Switzerland) notified Arcandor AG (Essen,
Germany) on 27 July 2009 in accordance with section 21 et seq. WpHG
that after termination of the pooling agreement between Madeleine
Schickedanz, Leo Herl, Madeleine Schickedanz Vermögensverwaltungs
GmbH & Co. KG, Martin Dedi Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG and
Grisfonta AG, on 23 July 2009 its voting rights in Arcandor AG fell
below the thresholds of 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%, 3% and that it did not
have voting rights in Arcandor AG anymore.

Mr Martin Dedi (Germany) notified Arcandor AG (Essen, Germany) on 27
July 2009 in accordance with section 21 et seq. WpHG that after
termination of the pooling agreement between Madeleine Schickedanz,
Leo Herl, Grisfonta AG, Madeleine Schickedanz Vermögensverwaltungs
GmbH & Co. KG and Martin Dedi Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG, on
23 July 2009 his voting rights in Arcandor AG fell below the
thresholds of 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%, 3% and that his attributed voting
rights amounted to 2.57% (6,502,416 voting rights). Mr Martin Dedi
himself does not own voting rights. The attributed voting rights are
entirely attributable to him in accordance with article 22 (1) sent.
1 no. 1 WpHG. These voting rights are held by the companies Martin
Dedi Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG and Martin Dedi
Vermögensverwaltungs Beteiligungs GmbH which are controlled by Martin
Dedi.

Martin Dedi Vermögensverwaltungs Beteiligungs GmbH (Fürth, Germany)
notified Arcandor AG (Essen, Germany) on 27 July 2009 in accordance
with section 21 et seq. WpHG that after termination of the pooling
agreement between Madeleine Schickedanz, Leo Herl, Grisfonta AG,
Madeleine Schickedanz Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG and Martin
Dedi Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG, on 23 July 2009 its voting
rights in Arcandor AG fell below the thresholds of 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%,
3% and that its attributions amounted to 2.57% (6,502,416 voting
rights). Martin Dedi Vermögensverwaltungs Beteiligungs GmbH itself
does not own voting rights. In accordance with article 22 (1) sent. 1
no. 1 WpHG the voting rights of Martin Dedi Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH
& Co. KG in the amount of 2.57% (6,502,416 voting rights) are
attributable to Martin Dedi Vermögensverwaltungs Beteiligungs GmbH.

Martin Dedi Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG (Fürth, Germany)
notified Arcandor AG (Essen, Germany) on 27 July 2009 in accordance
with section 21 et seq. WpHG that after termination of the pooling
agreement between Madeleine Schickedanz, Leo Herl, Grisfonta AG,
Madeleine Schickedanz Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG and Martin
Dedi Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG, on 23 July 2009 its voting
rights in Arcandor AG fell below the thresholds of 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%,
3% and that its share of voting rights amounted to 2.57% (6,502,416
voting rights).
