announces the nomination of National Councillor Jürg Stahl (Canton
of Zurich / SVP) for election to the Board of Directors of
LifeWatch AG. Ruedi Stoeckly, who has been Member of the Board of
Directors for many years, will not be available for re-election at
the upcoming Annual Shareholder Meeting.

The Board of Directors of LifeWatch AG proposes to the next Annual
Shareholder Meeting on May 26th, 2010, to elect National Councillor
Jürg Stahl (SVP) as a new member of the Board of Directors for a
term of office of one year. As National Councillor of the
Canton of Zurich, Mr. Jürg Stahl is a member of the House of
Representatives of Switzerland, where he is highly regarded as
an experienced healthcare expert. His work in various Federal
Commissions includes his membership of the Federal Commission for
Social Security and Healthcare of the Swiss National Council
(SGK-NR) since 1999. His professional background as a member of
Executive Board of the health insurance company Group Mutuel will
be an additional asset for the Board of Directors of LifeWatch AG.

After the success of its monitoring services in the U.S., LifeWatch
now intends to expand its services into attractive healthcare
markets in Europe. Consequently the company is seeking to
complement its Board with an experienced politician in the field of
healthcare who can serve the company with his valuable network
in Switzerland and beyond, including contacts at companies,
authorities, and service providers in the healthcare industry.

National Councillor Jürg Stahl will succeed Ruedi Stoeckly who has
served as a Member of the Board since 2003 and who will not be
available for re-election. The Board of Directors would like to
thank Mr. Stoeckly for his valuable contributions during the
past years and wishes him all the best. Apart from Chairman
Yacov Geva, who has a mandate until 2011, all other Members
including Vice Chairman Urs Wettstein, Gregory Henry Volkart and Dr.
Abraham Sartani are due for re-election at the Annual General
Meeting for a term of office of one year.
