Bad Soden, August 24, 2006 - TRIPLAN AG (ISIN: DE 0007499303) reports
about the first mid-term of 2006. During the first mid-term of 2006
(January 1 - June 30), TRIPLAN was able to increase the total
operating performance (sales, incl. changes in inventory and other
operating income and other own work capitalized) by 80 per cent from
10,913 TEUR by 8,729 TEUR to 19,642 TEUR in comparison to the same
period last year. The EBIT improved from -326 TEUR by 877 TEUR to 551
TEUR.
Accrued profit or loss increased by 711 TEUR; from -384 TEUR, in
comparison to the same period last year, to 327 TEUR.
In addition to the positive development in sales and earnings, the
cash position was improved as well. As of the reporting key date,
TRIPLAN has liquid assets in the amount of 2,025 TEUR, in comparison
to 841 TEUR as of June 30, 2005. The equity ratio was 46.7 per cent,
in comparison to 44 per cent in the same period last year. The result
per share is 0.04 (diluted / undiluted). Thus, the second quarter
continues with the positive development shown in the 1st quarter.
For the year, it is expected to achieve a total operating performance
in the amount of 36 million EUR and an EBIT in the amount of 1.4
million EUR.
