Neuhausen am Rheinfall / Switzerland - LifeWatch AG (SIX Swiss
Exchange: LIFE), the leading provider of wireless telemedicine,
announced today that Aetna now has a national contract with
LifeWatch to provide access to the NiteWatch Home Sleep Test (HST)
service for their members effective September 15, 2010.

A large percentage of patients with suspected Obstructive Sleep Apnea
(OSA) are reluctant to go to a sleep lab to be tested. Since 38
million Americans are affected by OSA1, millions of patients remain
undiagnosed and at risk for more serious complications from OSA
like stroke and heart disease. NiteWatch HST is clinically
equivalent to sleep lab testing for diagnosing OSA and is conducted
in the privacy of the patient´s home making it a less intimidating
alternative for many patients and concerned loved ones.

LifeWatch serves physicians by integrating electronic medical
records (EMR) with remote telemedicine services to support more
cost effective and timely services while providing clinically
relevant decisional information. NiteWatch HST now expands patient
care options to all physicians. This is yet another example of
how LifeWatch is scaling and aggregating a variety of solutions to
