POLYTEC GROUP could increased in the first quarter 2007 despite a
flat sales its key financials which finally resulted in an increase
in net profit of EUR 0.4 million or 7.8% % to EUR 5.6 million.

As a result of the acquisition of the moulding business of MENZOLIT
FIBRON on March 30, 2007, the results for 2007 will include the
results of MENZOLIT FIBRON starting in Q2 2007. Due to the first
consolidation of MEZOLIT FIBRON, starting with the second quarter,
POLYTEC HOLDING AG expects a significant increase in sales for the
financial year 2007. Besides the results of MENZOLIT FIBRON also the
net income is expected to improve and hence an increase of the
earnings per share is expected.
