Following the publication of its Q1/2007 results, aleo solar AG
(ISIN: DE000A0JM634) has lifted its forecast for the overall year.
Rather than the EUR 155 million in revenue planned to date, the
Company now anticipates organic revenue growth to at least EUR 170
million, with the EBIT margin remaining solid. The proportion of
international revenue is expected to amount to at least 25%. The
solar cells needed to achieve this increase in revenue have already
been secured in full under existing contracts.

The increased forecast is based on the additional solar cells secured
and the figures for the first quarter of 2007. Revenue climbed by
44.8% to EUR 37.2 million (Q1/2006: EUR 25.7 million). The proportion
of international revenue amounted to 35%. EBIT amounted to EUR 2.7
million (Q1/2006: EUR 3.4 million); the EBIT margin thus amounts to a
solid 7.2%. The Company increased its production output to 17.5 MW
(Q1/2006: 12.9 MW). Earnings per share totalled EUR 0.13 (Q1/2006:
EUR 0.16, based on the current number of shares).

Business in Germany recorded stable development. International growth
was stronger than expected: the increased marketing and sales
activities are starting to bear fruit. The Spanish market reacted to
the opening of aleo solar´s own factory near Barcelona and the
establishment of a sales organisation in Spain by placing
corresponding orders. In Italy, aleo solar AG has seen a significant
increase in new orders following the passing of simplified
legislation in February. As a result, 35% of total revenue was
generated outside Germany by the end of the quarter; the
corresponding figure was 4.1% during the prior-year period.
