Saarbrücken (euro adhoc) - May 30, 2007. ItN Nanovation AG (ISIN
DE000A0JL461) reached important operational targets in the first
quarter of 2007, thus creating the basis for future growth. In the
Nanocomp Powerplant (PP) area, the successful conclusion of tests in
2006 led to the generation of major orders from power plants in the
first quarter of 2007. The total annual revenues for this area may
therefore reach at least the upper end of market expectations. At the
end of the first quarter of 2007, the long-running large-scale tests
on major industrial customers in the Nanocomp Metcast (MC) area
reached the final phase, and should likewise give rise to orders in a
very short time.

Compared to the first quarter of the previous year, total performance
was up 22.3 percent, rising from EUR 1,273,000 to EUR 1,557,000. At
EUR 1,158,000 the revenues generated were slightly below the previous
year´s figure of EUR 1,248,000. Here it must be considered that
important reference assets, orders and regulatory issues are not yet
reflected in the revenues - this will change over the course of the
year. In the first quarter of 2007, earnings before taxes amounted to
EUR -1,365,000 compared to EUR -1,237,000 in the previous year.

In view of developments in the first quarter of 2007, ItN Nanovation
assumes that the company´s market expectations for the entire year
will be fulfilled.

Additional potential for success will be created by the ceramic flat
membrane filtration technology product group (CFM-Systems). Here the
Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt; German Institute of
Construction Technology) recently issued a construction license (cf.
announcement of May 29, 2007), facilitating the commencement of
marketing activities. ItN Nanovation is thus opening up an additional
business area with a market potential of billions.
