Valeo Wins Gold and Silver International "Grands Prix" Awards for Automotive Innovation at Equip'Auto

Paris (ots/PRNewswire) - At the Equip'Auto International Grands
Prix awards ceremony held last night, Valeo (OTC:VLEEY) won the Gold
Award for its e-Valve system in the "Engineering and Advanced
Technology" category and the Silver award for the guideo driving
assistance system in the "Aftermarket and Post-Equipment" category.
The eXponentia(TM) technical training program of which Valeo is a
partner, received a Gold Award in the "Services" category.

Valeo's e-Valve technology is based on a variable valve actuation
system that replaces the conventional mechanical system for major
fuel economy, improved engine performance and easier driving. It
reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 20% while
improving low end torque up to 20%. The e-Valve system is part of
Valeo's Powertrain Efficiency Domain within which the Group develops
micro-hybrid systems, thermal management and clutch systems which,
when combined, can reduce overall fuel consumption and CO2 emissions
by up to 40%.

Guideo integrates several functions into one module: a lane
keeping and lane departure warning system, a visual recording of the
vehicle's trajectory in the event of abrupt acceleration or
deceleration, and a warning for the driver when the vehicle in front
moves forward, at a traffic light, for example. Guideo is part of an

solutions proposed by Valeo, with each product contributing to a
