On the basis of the resolution of August 02, 2010 by the Board of
Directors of Wincor Nixdorf AG, Paderborn, ISIN DE000A0CAYB2, to
purchase up to 400,000 shares of the company during the period from
August 03, 2010 to November 03, 2010 (see the ad-hoc release of
August 03, 2010), Wincor Nixdorf AG purchased 400,000 of its own
shares during the period from August 03 to October 06, 2010 at an
average purchase price per share of Euro 47.88. This equates to an
overall amount purchased of Euro 19,152,644.39. With this the share
repurchase has been completed.

The repurchased shares are to be used for all legitimate purposes
covered by the authorization granted by the Annual General Meeting,
in particular for the purpose of settling obligations arising from
share options already issued or to be issued to members of the Board
of Directors, other managers or staff members of the company and/or
subordinated affiliated entities on the basis of the authorization
granted for the issue of share options.

The purchase took place through the Credit Agricole Cheuvreux S.A.,
Paris, exclusively via XETRA trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
Information on this transactions in accordance with Section 4 (3) and
(4) of the European Commission's EU regulation no. 2273/2003, dated
December 22, 2003, in conjunction with Section 20 (1) of Council
Directive 93/22/EWG of May 10, 1993 has been published in the
