Berlin (euro adhoc) - Berlin, June 7, 2011 - The Annual General
Meeting of Shareholders of Beta Systems Software AG (BSS, ISIN
DE0005224406), which took place today in Berlin, approved the
resolution amending the Articles of Association to take account of
the switch to a different fiscal year. The fiscal year will now start
on October 1 and end on September 30 of the following year. The
period from January 1, 2011 to September 30, 2011 will be deemed a
short fiscal year. The Manage-ment Board and the Supervisory Board
put forward a proposal to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
to change the fiscal year as most of the contracts acquired in Beta
Systems' continued operations are customarily only signed in the
fourth quarter of the year. Moreover, following the sale of the ECM
business, there is now even greater seasonality of sales revenues,
and thus of the course of business. Given that the end of the fiscal
year in customer companies and in Beta Systems coincides, these
months are characterized by the greatest pressure on prices and
negotiations which tends to exert a negative impact on the level of
margins when large contracts are signed. These effects are to be
counteracted more effectively by changing the fiscal year.

Furthermore, the Management Board and Supervisory Board were granted
discharge for their term of office in the fiscal year 2010 at the
Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. No discharge was granted to
former Board member Kamyar Niroumand for his term of office in the
fiscal year 2009. BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Berlin, was
mandated as independent auditor for the fiscal year 2011.

attendance list): Share capital: EUR 17,275,588.20

Capital represented: EUR 10,999,359.80
% of share capital: 63.67 %
Votes represented: 8,461,046 votes
