Jetter AG, Ludwigsburg, (ISIN: DE0006264005) publishes figures for
the first fiscal quarter ended 30 June 2011. In the first fiscal
quarter, the Jetter group registered sales of 10 Mio. Euro, 30% more
than the year before (7.8 Mio. Euro). But while in the previous year,
sharp cost-cutting measures had allowed for a positive EBIT of KEUR
347, Jetter suffered a loss of KEUR 434 in the current year, mainly
due to onerous start-up costs through the beginning of new products´
serial production, which management expects to subside over the next
six months. Diluted and undiluted earnings per share were EUR -0.13
(previous year: EUR 0.09). Order intake in the quarter amounted to
12.8 Mio. Euro, the highest figure in company history so far
(previous year: 9 Mio. Euro). The orderbook, too, rose to a new
record level of 8.9 Mio. Euro (previous year: 5 Mio. Euro). With
continuous high sales and increased maturity of new products,
management is confident that earnings in the current fiscal year will
