GENEVA, April 4, 2012 -- Weatherford International Ltd. (NYSE /
Euronext Paris / SIX: WFT) today informs its shareholders that a Form
8-K has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
("SEC"). The Form 8-K includes a disclosure that Weatherford has
entered into an underwriting agreement related to its previously
announced senior notes offering. The Form 8-K also includes, as
exhibits, a form of supplemental indenture, forms of global senior
notes due 2022 and 2042 and legal opinions related to the offering.
