voting rights of Metolius Foundation in Air Berlin PLC fell below the 3 %
threshold on 27 June 2012. The percentage of voting rights held on this day by
Metolius Foundation was 2.9996 % (3,503,567 shares). Previous to the triggering
transaction, the number of shares and voting rights in Air Berlin PLC held by
Metolius Foundation was 3,508,677.

The Metolius Foundation is a Liechtenstein foundation and is controlled by
Reidun Lundgren. Reidun Lundgren also controls Ringerike GmbH & Co.
Luftfahrtsbeteiligungs KG, a German limited partnership, which held 640,275
shares in Air Berlin PLC both before and after the transaction which is the
subject of this notification.
