Subtitle: 1,500 mobile terminals as capture equipment in the field of
merchandise management

Hannover/Germany, 07/08/2012. (euro adhoc) - The company Fressnapf
Tiernahrungs GmbH, Europe's biggest specialist retail chain for pet
food and accessories, has opted in favour of mobile terminals from
Hoeft & Wessel. In approximately 1,200 German and European branch
outlets, data recording will in future be carried out with the
skeye.allegro LS product series. Thanks to a display in landscape
format, this handheld is ideal for depicting tables. Delivery of the
1,500 devices is set to begin by the end of this year and is expected
to be finalised by mid-2013. The agreement that has just been
concluded also extends to include five-year after-sales services and
accessories.

The latest generation of devices from Hoeft & Wessel is deployed to
record or capture merchandise by scanning barcodes. The skeye.allegro
LS is directly connected to the merchandise management system by
WLAN. In the course of implementation, Hoeft & Wessel collaborates
with SAP and GK Software, as it does with other projects.

By acquiring Fressnapf as a new customer, Hoeft & Wessel is
consolidating its leading position for mobile data capture devices in
Germany's retail sector.
