Berlin, 23 August 2012. The administrator in the insolvency
proceedings regarding the assets of SOLON SE, Mr Rüdiger Wienberg
(lawyer), submitted an application to the management of the Frankfurt
Stock Exchange today for the revocation of admission to trading on
the Regulated Market (General Standard) pursuant to section 39 (2) of
the German Stock Exchange Act (Börsengesetz) in conjunction with
section 46 (1) of the Exchange Rules in respect of the shares in
SOLON SE.

The shares in SOLON SE are currently admitted to the sub-segment of
the regulated market with additional post-admission obligations
(Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and to the regulated
market of the Berlin Stock Exchange. The revocation of these two
authorizations has already been applied for and an affirmative
response provided by the respective stock exchange management teams.
As a result, the admission to trading on the regulated market of the
Berlin Stock Exchange will end at the close of business on 28
September 2012, while the admission to the sub-segment of the
regulated market with additional post-admission obligations (Prime
Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange will end at the close of
business on 11 September 2012. One direct consequence of this will be
the (official) commencement of trading (listing) of the shares in
SOLON SE on the regulated market (General Standard) of the Frankfurt
Stock Exchange on 12 September 2012.

The aim of today's application for the revocation of admission to
trading on the regulated market (General Standard) is to end this
(last remaining) admission of the shares to trading on a regulated
market, concluding the delisting of the shares in SOLON SE in full
when the revocation applied for today takes effect.
