1. M&G Investment Management Limited, London, United Kingdom, informed us on
September 10, 2012 pursuant to § 21 Paragraph 1 of the German Securities Trading
Act (WpHG) that its share of the voting rights in Symrise AG dropped below the
15% threshold on September 3, 2012 and on that day amounted to 14.98%. This
corresponds to 17,700,530 voting rights. This 14.98% is attributed to it in
accordance with Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG). Voting rights of the following shareholders whose proportion
of the voting rights in Symrise AG in each case amounts to 3% or more are
thereby attributed to the company: M&G Investment Funds (1).

2. M&G Limited, London, United Kingdom, informed us on September 4, 2012
pursuant to Section 21 Paragraph 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG)
that its share of the voting rights in Symrise AG dropped below the 15%
threshold on September 3, 2012 and on that day amounted to 14.978%. This
corresponds to 17,700,530 voting rights. This 14.978% is attributed to it in
accordance with Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 in conjunction with
Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 2 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG).
Voting rights of the following shareholders whose proportion of the voting
rights in Symrise AG in each case amounts to 3% or more are thereby attributed
to the company: M&G Investment Funds (1).

3. The M&G Group Limited, London, United Kingdom, informed us on September 4,
2012 pursuant to Section 21 Paragraph 1 of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG) that its share of the voting rights in Symrise AG dropped below the 15%
threshold on September 3, 2012 and on that day amounted to 14.978%. This
corresponds to 17,700,530 voting rights. This 14.978% is attributed to it in
