Quarterly results

Based on current figures, adesso AG expects increased sales and a
significantly higher operating result in the third quarter of 2012.
With sales revenues in the range of EUR 30 million, EBITDA in excess
of EUR 2.5 million is expected (Q2/2012: EUR 0.1 million, prior year:
EUR 1.8 million). Even though the adjusted 2012 forecast already
calls for a significant improvement in earnings for the second half
of the year, the magnitude that is now apparent exceeds the budget
for the third quarter. The EBITDA forecast for the second half of the
year is highly likely to be exceeded on this basis.
This positive development is mainly driven by high license sales for
the in-house developed content management system FirstSpirit to new
customers, realised at the end of the quarter, and success in
restructuring the energy and water management business. The margin in
the IT services segment is also improving due to a combination of a
higher number of working days, profitable fixed price projects and
improved cost ratios.
The final figures for the third quarter of 2012 will be published via
the interim announcement on 13 November 2012.
