45472 Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, has fallen below the threshold of 3% of
the voting rights on April 5, 2013 and on that day amounted to 2.96% (this
corresponds to 1,523,469 voting rights). According to Article 22, Section
1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 2.96% of the voting rights (this
corresponds to 1,523,469 voting rights) is to be attributed to the company.

2) On April 9, 2013, Artisan Investments GP LLC, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA,
has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that its
proportion of voting rights on Brenntag AG, Stinnes-Platz 1, 45472 Mülheim
an der Ruhr, Germany, has fallen below the threshold of 3% of the voting
rights on April 5, 2013 and on that day amounted to 2.96% (this corresponds
to 1,523,469 voting rights). According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence
1, No. 6 in connection with sentences 2 and 3 of the WpHG, 2.96% of the
voting rights (this corresponds to 1,523,469 voting rights) is to be
attributed to the company.

USA, has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that
its proportion of voting rights on Brenntag AG, Stinnes-Platz 1, 45472
Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, has fallen below the threshold of 3% of the
voting rights on April 5, 2013 and on that day amounted to 2.96% (this
corresponds to 1,523,469 voting rights). According to Article 22, Section
1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with sentences 2 and 3 of the WpHG,
