Supervisory Board appoints Thomas Grethe as new CSO of Francotyp-Postalia
Holding AG

Birkenwerder, 3 June 2013. The Supervisory Board of Francotyp-Postalia
Holding AG, Birkenwerder, (ISIN DE000FPH9000) has appointed Thomas Grethe
as the new CSO with effect from 15 June 2013. The 53-year-old banker and
business economist has over 27 years of sales experience in the IT and
telecommunications industries. During this period, he held positions in
sales management and management of leading companies in the Document
Management industry including Oki Systems, Konika Minolta Printing
Solutions and Ricoh.

In his last position Grethe was the Chairman of the Board of Management of
Utax GmbH, which was taken over by Kyocera Corporation in 2010. Here he
played an important role in the successful development of the national and
international specialised retailing and distributor business as well as in
brand development and was responsible for incorporating Utax into the
global structures of the Kyocera group.

The Supervisory Board is convinced to have won Grethe as one of the top
managers in the industry of Francotyp-Postalia. With his experience in the
IT and Document Solutions industries, Grethe will be making an important
contribution to the future positioning and strategy of the Group. His areas
of responsibility include Business Development, Product Management, German
and International Sales, Marketing, Corporate Communications and Internal
Auditing.

The previous CSO, Andreas Drechsler, is leaving the company as of today in
order to take on new challenges. The Supervisory Board would explicitly
like to thank Mr Drechsler for the work he performed for the company.
