Given to the participation in the UEFA Champions League final, the
vice-championship in the Bundesliga and again significantly increased
transfer revenues compared to the previous year Borussia Dortmund achieved
in the financial year 2012/2013 a new record regarding revenues and results
in clubs over 100 year old history.

Revenues increased in the group statement from EUR 215.2 Mio. in the
previous year to EUR 305.0 Mio and in the individual statement from EUR
191.2 Mio. in the previous year to EUR 272.4 Mio.

Earnings before taxes (EBT) amounted EUR 61.5 Mio. (previous year EUR 39.3
Mio.) in the individual statement and EUR 60.0 Mio. (previous year EUR 36.6
Mio.) in the group statement.

In the preceding financial year (01.07.2012 - 30.06.2013) Borussia Dortmund
recorded an individual annual result of EUR 53.3 Mio. (previous year EUR
34.3 Mio.) and a Group annual result of EUR 51.2 Mio. (previous year EUR
27.5 Mio.). The deviation of the annual results between the individual and
the according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
determined group financial statement mainly resulted - as in the previous
years before - from increased depreciations concerning the stadium and from
adjustments concerning deferred taxes which however did not have an impact
on liquidity.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA)
amounted EUR 73.2 Mio. (previous year EUR 48.2 Mio.) in the individual
financial statement and EUR 87.5 Mio. (previous year EUR 60.0 Mio.) in the
group financial statement.

The revenues in the individual financial statement in a total amount EUR
272.4 Mio. (previous year 191.2) spread as follows: EUR 44.8 Mio. (previous
year EUR 31.4 Mio.) match operations; EUR 87.6 Mio. (previous year EUR 60.4
Mio.) TV-Rights; EUR 69.3 Mio. (previous year EUR 57.8 Mio.) sponsoring;
EUR 51.6 Mio. (previous year EUR 26.1 Mio.) transfer; EUR 19.1 Mio
(previous year EUR 15.5 Mio.) retail / conference / catering/
miscellaneous.

Total operating performance of the company increased from EUR 198.9 Mio.
(previous year) by EUR 75.8 Mio. to EUR 274.7 Mio. in the individual
financial statement. Other operating income of Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co.
KGaA decreased from EUR 7.7 Mio. by EUR 5.4 Mio. to EUR 2.3 Mio.

Personnel expenses of the company in the individual financial statement
increased from EUR 74.5 Mio. by EUR 25.3 Mio. to EUR 99.8 Mio. in the
preceding financial year. Depreciations in the individual financial
statement increased as well from EUR 10.9 Mio. by EUR 3.6 Mio. to EUR 14.5
Mio. Compared to the previous year other operating expenses rose from EUR
76.1 Mio. by EUR 25.6 Mio. to EUR 101.7 Mio.

The financial result in the individual financial statement improved from
EUR 2.0 Mio. by EUR 0.8 Mio. to EUR 2.8 Mio.

Given to the result situation the management intends to propose to the
supervisory board the payment of a dividend in an amount of 0.10 EUR per
share for the decision to be jointly taken regarding the proposal of
appropriation of profits to the annual shareholders' meeting. The
supervisory board will adopt a decision about this in its meeting on
September 24th, 2013.
