POLIS Immobilien acquires office and retail building with approx. 11,000
square metres of lettable space in Berlin

- Investment volume to grow by approx. 10 percent

- Operating figures set to increase further in the course of the fiscal
year

Berlin, 30 August 2013. POLIS Immobilien AG has acquired an office and
retail building with some 11,000 square metres of lettable space close to
its headquarter in the west of the Berlin city centre. The building is
almost fully let, most of the space used by a nationwide consulting firm
with more than five years remaining on the lease. The transfer of ownership
is scheduled for the end of the third quarter of 2013. POLIS Immobilien AG
and the seller agreed to treat the details of the transaction
confidentially. 60% of the purchase price was debt financed, with own funds
used to finance the rest. The purchase will increase POLIS' investment
volume by approx. 10 percent, and the company's operating figures will
increase further in the course of the fiscal year. As repeatedly announced
by the company, POLIS has an equity ratio of 48 percent as well as
considerable liquidity reserves, which are earmarked for imminent
acquisitions. The company's own funds are sufficient to finance further
purchases even after the latest transaction.

In view of its good capitalisation, POLIS is interested in acquiring
further office properties in good locations of German 'A' and 'B'-rated
cities and is currently reviewing specific investment opportunities.

POLIS Immobilien AG, which was founded in Berlin in 1998, is a listed real
estate company that buys, refurbishes/revitalises, and manages office
properties for its own portfolio. The company focuses on one market
segment: office properties in inner-city locations at the most important
German office centres. The company acquires properties that are either
already renovated and are completely let, thereby generating stable cash
flow, or properties that are vacant or require modernisation, and which
offer specific value appreciation potential. This potential may be realised
by corresponding modernisation measures or full revitalisation. As of June
30 2013, POLIS Immobilien's real estate portfolio comprised a total of 26
properties with a market value of around EUR 290 million. POLIS Immobilien
