Mannheim (euro adhoc) - Mannheim, 22 January 2009 - Leonardo Venture
GmbH & Co. KGaA has called an Extraordinary General Meeting for 6
March 2009. This is mainly to adopt a resolution on the inclusion of
Leonardo Venture Verwaltungs GmbH as personally liable partner of
Leonardo Venture GmbH & Co. KGaA as well as the corresponding
amendments to the articles of association. Leonardo Venture
Verwaltungs GmbH (formerly ELGE Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH)
replaced Leonardo Venture Capital GmbH as general partner effective 1
January 2009. In addition to adopting a resolution on the new general
partner, the Extraordinary General Meeting will also include a
presentation on the future strategic focus of the company. The
Supervisory Board and the Management will explain the upcoming
measures which are to get Leonardo Venture´s operating business back
on track. The Annual General Meeting 2009 is scheduled for 14 July
2009 and will feature the presentation of the 2007 and 2008 financial
statements. As a result of the insights gained from the extensive
review of the investment portfolio in the financial year 2008, the
Supervisory Board has decided to have spot checks conducted on the
2007 financial statements. This step is necessary to validate the
year on year figures required for the 2008 financial statements. The
