It's Ladies Night as Katy Perry and Lady Gaga Lead the Race With Five Nominations Each at the 2010 MTV EMAs

London (ots/PRNewswire) - MTV Networks International
(MTVNI), owned by Viacom Inc today reveals this year's nominations
for the 2010 EMAs, MTV's annual celebration of contemporary music and
youth culture. Set to take place at Caja Magica in Madrid, the 17th
annual EMAs will broadcast live on MTV channels across the globe from
Sunday 7th November 2010, 21:00 CET. The 2010 MTV EMAs are sponsored
by the new Suzuki Swift, Calvin Klein Jeans and Dell.

Two previous EMA winners are confirmed to perform on Sunday 7th
November as part of the 2010 MTV EMAs. Pop superstar, Katy Perry and
rock gods Linkin Park will be taking the stage, live in Madrid.

Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna go head to head in the Best
Pop, Best Female and Best Song categories while Gaga is also
celebrating a nod for Best Live Act and Katy Perry is up for Best
World Stage Performance.

Elsewhere in the nominations list, released today, Eminem cements
his reclaimed Hip Hop crown with four nominations including Best
Song, Best Male and Best Video for his amazing Rihanna collaboration,
"Love the Way You Lie."

British stadium rockers Muse along with Thirty Seconds to Mars,
Linkin Park and Kings of Leon find themselves up against the Prince
of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, while pop phenomenon Justin Bieber,
Ke$ha, B.o.B, Plan B and Jason Derulo go all out in competition for
Best New Act.
