Stuttgart, May 14, 2007 - Heiler Software AG, one of the leading
provider of electronic product information solutions and catalog
management systems, realized Group revenues in the second quarter of
fiscal year 2006/07 (01/01/2007 - 03/31/2007) of 2.12 million Euro
(prior year: 2.30 million Euro) and net income for the quarter of
0.07 million Euro (prior year: 0.21 million Euro).

In the typically weakest quarter for the software industry, the
especially strong margin field of product business realized a growth
from 0.93 million Euro to 1.07 million Euro when compared to the
corresponding period of the prior year and increased its share of
total revenues from 41% to 51%. Especially joyful emerged maintenance
revenues, which - with an increase from 0.22 million Euro to 0.43
million Euro - almost doubled. License revenues decreased from 0.54
million Euro to 0.45 million Euro. However, the hosting and so-called
Application Service Providing (ASP)-business improved from 0.17
million Euro to 0.20 million Euro. Consulting revenues, mainly due to
the completion of a larger implementation project, stayed temporarily
behind the good previous year´s value. It decreased by 0.26 million
Euro to 1.02 million Euro and therefore was the main reason why total
revenues of 2.12 million Euro stayed under the good value of the
prior year by 0.18 million Euro.

As a result of the decrease in revenues, earnings before interest and
taxes (EBIT) decreased from 0.15 million Euro to -0.10 million Euro
when compared to the prior year. Interest income increased by 0.12
million Euro to 0.18 million Euro when compared to the prior year and
led to an overall positive earnings before taxes of 0.08 million Euro
(prior year: 0.21 million Euro) and to a net income for the quarter
of 0.07 million Euro (prior year: 0.21 million Euro).

Liquid funds increased in the 2nd quarter 2006/07 from 14.38 million
Euro to 14.59 million Euro and shareholders´ equity increased from
18.86 million Euro to 18.99 million Euro (which represents 89% of
total assets).

For the second half of the fiscal year, Management - based on the
order situation and potential future orders, particular for the
especially strong-margin field of the product- and license business -
expects an increase of the growth rate of more than 30% when compared
to the corresponding period of the prior year and for total fiscal
year 2006/07 a double-digit revenues growth rate and a significant
improvement in results when compared to the prior year.
