Oberkirch (euro adhoc) - August 2, 2011 - After having booked new
orders worth more than EUR 150 million in the first half of 2011,
which were distributed among all product areas, and involve the
participation of all company sites, orders worth a further
approximately EUR 50 million were acquired in the month of July
alone.

In this context, the main focus is a major order for around EUR 30
million for components for electrical motors. All of these new
orders, which will go into series production from 2013, make a
significant contribution to the further growth of PWO's sites in
North America, China and also in Europe.

We are also working intensively on solutions for components for
alternative drive concepts, as well as for batteries in electrical
vehicles.
