GENEVA, Feb. 29, 2012 -- Weatherford International Ltd. (NYSE /
EURONEXT PARIS / SIX: WFT) today informs its shareholders that a
Notice on Form NT 10-K has been filed with the U.S. Securities and
Exchange Commission ("SEC"). The Notice advises that Weatherford
could not file its Annual Report on Form 10 K by February 29, 2012
because, as previously announced, it is in the process of restating
prior financial statements. The Notice allows the company to extend
the time for filing its 10-K until March 15, 2012.
