Turkcell has made a commitment to providing services that improve
its customer's lives, having greatly contributed to taking Turkey's
reputation in technology and services to a higher level through the
awards it has received over the years. At the Loyalty World Awards of
2013, Turkcell made it to the finals with nine of its projects. And
while the 'Gnctrkcll representatives' program received the "Best Use
of Social Media to Enhance Loyalty" award; 'Gencaver' picked up the
"Best Customer Service in a Loyalty Program" award. Meanwhile the 'my
life' project of Turkcell's Belarus subsidiary BeST, was chosen as
the "Central and Eastern Europe's Best Loyalty Program".
The Loyalty World Awards, which included awards from 24 different
categories, received hundreds of applications throughout Europe, the
Middle East and Africa. Twenty countries competed with 200 different
projects, while Turkcell made it to the finals with nine of its
projects, the 'Gencaver' programs carried out by 'Gnctrkcll's' young
representatives came in as finalists in three categories. Turkcell's
subsidiary BeST in Belarus won first place at an international
ceremony for the first time. 'My life' is an adaptation of
'Gnctrkcll', which is Turkcell's loyalty program aimed at youngsters.
The program offers youth such benefits as free movie tickets,
discounts at restaurants, and more.
At the ceremony that took place in London, Turkcell Chief Consumer
Marketing Officer Burak Sevilengul received the award, noting that
the Loyalty Awards brought together the best programs that work to
provide the most benefits for customers. Sevilengul continued by
saying: "Turkcell not only serves to present its customers with a
high quality mobile Internet service that is comparable to the best
of its kind in the world, but also works hard to take Turkey to the
next level in terms of service quality. The representative system
that we implemented last year via 'Gnctrkcll' allowed the
expectations and demands of youngsters to be directly conveyed. We
have concentrated particularly on youth projects this year, passing
our insights to our subsidiary BeST, and through the joint efforts
have received yet another award. It is our honor to have successfully
represented Turkey at such a significant award ceremony and return
with prestigious awards."
